On a quiet quay in Harlingen your fishing cutter UQ3 The Grietje, a sturdy steel ship of over 17 meters long. In the past, it sailed the Zuiderzee and the Wadden Sea looking for shrimp and sometimes for the seal hunt. Now the ship is transformed into a luxurious and comfortable houseboat for two.


On board you will find:
- A bedroom with twin box spring
- A bathroom with shower, toilet and wash basin
- The flight deck with seating and kitchenette
- Fore and aft with deck chairs
- Flat screen TV / DVD
- Hifi
- Microwave oven
- Nespresso coffee maker
- Kettle
- Central heating in all rooms
and everything else you need for an enjoyable stay.


Overnight
Just for the record: who sleeps on De Grietje, has the entire vessel available! You are welcome on board from 14.00 hours. We give you a brief explanation of for instance the use of electricity. Almost everything works like a 'normal' house but some things are slightly different. After that you have De Grietje for yourself. On the day of departure will leave the ship no later than 12 hours.

Prices
Season: 145 EUR excluding breakfast and city tax. Included are coffee and tea, electricity and heating.
Off season (November to March except holidays): 95 euros per night.

Wishes and surprises
De Grietje is often hired by people who have something to celebrate. Do you have special requests, such as flowers or champagne, please let us know. We do everything to make your stay as special as possible.


At sea!
In the season that the bridges and locks are operated, you can use an experienced skipper to the mud. The skipper sets the route with you. He takes into account the locks, tides and weather conditions. You do not need help when moving, so you can deck or in the cockpit can quietly enjoy this experience. You pay the captain 50 euro per hour (including sailing costs).
